Hello and Welcome!
I am excited to announce Mom’s Memories and Reflections on Motherhood: A Guided Journal is now available in hardcover with premium color. You know that saying, “Only the best is good enough for our moms.” I was driven to make the book the best it can be for mom and for the giver to be proud of selecting this journal for their mother.
When I wrote my feel-good memoir, Arranging a Dream, about the first year we were in the flower business, I had no idea the book would also be about motherhood. A one-year-old daughter and a new business. I should have known motherhood would be included in my story because balancing the responsibilities of being a mother, wife, and businesswoman was my life! Many of you are in that situation today. So yes, the joys and challenges of motherhood are in the memoir.
"There is no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one." - Jill Churchill
Because the theme of motherhood was woven throughout the narrative, the idea to create a journal for moms bloomed. Those who come after us can understand the joys and sorrows we experience in a lifetime if we record those memories. Those stories can serve as survival guides for today and for future generations.
There are plenty of fun and difficult topics in the journal to write about such as teaching your child to ride a bike, the first lost tooth, the first heartbreak, the handmade gifts, the bedtime fears, the legacy of love, the role of grandmother, and more.
Each topic in the journal includes a writing prompt and a quotation to inspire the writer to recall their legacy stories in writing, sketching, or notes to use when making a video for their family.
To all the moms and the people who are important in a child’s life, I wish you a Happy, Special Mother’s Day.
